Your Meal is an Experience at Barton G. The Restaurant Chicago

Barton G. The Restaurant Chicago

The newly opened Barton G. The Restaurant is as much about the show as it is about the food. This conceptual dining experience is likely not something you’ve ever experienced before — think lobster pop tarts are served in a toaster, popcorn shrimp that comes to the table in an old-school popcorn machine and an all-American burger that sits atop a display with a baseball glove, hat, and bat.

There’s lots to marvel at here, whether it’s the food presentation at your table or the other larger-than-life décor. The pricing at Barton G. The Restaurant certainly reflects those over-the-top displays, but it’s the kind of place that will give you a memorable dining experience for a birthday, anniversary or another celebration. The desserts offer some of the most elaborate displays, like the Marie Antoinette cake with a bright pink cotton candy bouffant, or the whopping $250 four-foot ice cream cone. No matter which you choose, you’re sure to leave feeling more than impressed with the experience.

Find Barton G. The Restaurant in the North Side on Dearborn Street. The restaurant is open for dinner on the weekdays and brunch and dinner on the weekends.
