Raise a Glass at Bye Bye Liver: Chicago’s Drinking Game Comedy Show

Frank’s Bar may technically be fictional, but chances are there’s one just like it that you frequent. The stereotypical Windy City bar serves as the setting for Bye Bye Liver: Chicago’s Drinking Game Comedy Show. A team of four to six actors takes the stage at The Newport Theater every Friday night, inviting the audience into Frank’s for a few drinks.

Each actor represents a different bar archetype, someone you’d find yourself sitting next to at your own neighborhood bar. Some of the actors play Frank’s staff, who are tasked with the difficult job of managing their patrons’ lively personalities. They’ll all guide you on an uproarious journey into their world throughout the 90-minute show, sprinkling in some improvised bits along the way. Then comes the audience participation part of Bye Bye Liver—a drinking game that’s built right in, where the actors chat with the audience directly. You can get even more involved at the after party where the cast sticks around to raise a glass with you and your fellow theatergoers! Tickets are available online starting at $15.
