Maddon’s Post Is Now Open in Wrigleyville

Maddon’S Post, Wrigleyville

Whether you’re meeting up with friends on your way to The Friendly Confines or you just need a burger and a beer after a long week at work, Maddon’s Post is here for you. This new addition to the Wrigleyville dining scene, partially owned by the manager who brought North Siders a ring, maintains an old-fashioned vibe without feeling out of date.

The menu includes a mixture of Polish-American and Italian-American fare, owing to the backgrounds of Maddon and celebrated chef-owner Tony Mantuano.  Working the wood-fired grill, the kitchen staff turns out pizza, pasta, pierogies, and paczki from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. seven days a week. Standout dishes include the mortadella cups pizza, kielbasa and clams entree, as well as the braised brisket rigatoni. The spacious bar area downstairs makes for an appealing happy hour destination, while the upstairs terrace provides a popular al fresco dining experience in the neighborhood.
