Aug. 17-18 Near 811 Uptown: Sangria Festival Chicago

Sangria Festival Chicago

Summer is the season for sangria, which is why you need to know about Sangria Festival Chicago, taking place on Saturday, August 17th and Sunday, August 18th. West Division Street’s Humboldt Park is the setting for this incredible gathering, which combines wonderful food and music with artfully crafted sangria.

This festival spotlights a top-notch panel of bartenders crafting 20 different flavors of sangria by hand. As you sip, take in the sights and sounds of amazing music and dance performances. Flamenco and samba dancers will put on a show, as will the stacked lineup of excellent musicians. The food court features a dazzling variety of local eats, ranging from tapas to tacos and even gelato. A number of retail vendors will also be present. If you feel like embracing your creative side, check out the paint and sip sangria lounge, where you can create a painting to bring home.

Bring a chair and a blanket, and find a spot on the lawn to enjoy it all. Festivities kick off at 12pm on Saturday. Tickets range from $15 to $85, with tasting tickets starting at $35. Remember to dress to impress!
